The objective of the Patriots Softball Camp at American Heritage is to provide each participant with an enjoyable learning experience in the fundamentals of softball. Campers are grouped by age and experience and receive instruction as an individual, in small groups, and as a team. Top level instruction is provided by a former pro coach, former college coaches, current college players, and current high school players. Campers will be instructed in softball fundamentals including hitting, pitching, fielding, catching, base running, and overall game-specific skills. A combination of drills, competitions, and games make for a fun, instructional week of softball at the Patriots Softball Camp.

Coach Stephani Moore has been coaching softball for over 20 years. Currently, she is an assistant softball coach for American Heritage. During her tenure, the Patriots have won two State Championships. Coach Moore had the honor of coaching Jenna Goodrich, the Gatorade Player of the Year for Softball, along with other All County and All District players. Coach Moore coached college softball at NCAA nationally ranked California University of Pa, West Virginia Wesleyan College, and Washington & Jefferson College. Throughout her coaching career she helped coach 6 NFCA All-Americans, 26 All-Region players, 4 All-Region pitchers, 11 All-PSAC pitchers, and 5 PSAC Pitchers of the Year. Stephani also coached the Pennsylvania Rebellion in the inaugural season of the National Pro Fastpitch Softball league.

Camper groupings vary by program. Day Camp programs will be grouped by age/grade/gender, Specialty Programs are grouped together by age, interest, and/ or skill level. Programs are not guaranteed and require a minimum enrollment. Campers are supervised at all times by our energetic and fully-trained staff. Our counselors are carefully selected based on experience, character, and leadership. Every staff member is background checked, as we continue to maintain the highest level of safety and security on campus. At American Heritage Day Camp we do our very best to make sure our staff is placed with the appropriate age group to ensure a successful and fun summer.
