Tru-spec have long been making military-spec clothing for law enforcement and soldiers alike. Tiger Stripe came into use with US Special Forces (and other elements later) during the War in Vietnam. The pattern saw multitudes of variations and colours during the conflict and again has seen unofficial use with SF units even today.

Boonie hats are an excellent form of protection against the sun as well as keeping rain and light out of your eyes with their large brims.
